教育・研究に対する考え方

どうすれば英語が上達するの？という質問をよくされます。何かを自分のものにするためには継続と努力が必要になるでしょう。そのためのパワーは目標を持つことであったり、そのことを楽しむことであったり、あるいはその中に何か喜びを見出すことなどだと思います。私は大学院にはいり初めて学ぶことの楽しさを知りました。本や研究、教官やクラスメートから発せされる情報を得ること学ぶことが嬉しくて楽しくて...知識欲が心を充実させてくれました。そんな気持ちを学生にもぜひ経験してほしいと願っています。
